Cold work tools

In cold work, Toolox is most often used for forming, bending and drawing where its excellent combination of features (high strength, fatigue resistance and toughness) can be used for an optimum result. Toolox is also well used for other die components such as guide plates, supporter plater and staple holder plates.

In comparison with other materials time losses, cracking and distortion can be avoided with Toolox because additional heat treatment is not necessary. Further advantage of elimination of additional heat treatment with Toolox is that is enables longer use of application without distortion risk.

Toolox is low carbon steel which enables plasma, oxy, lase and wire EDM cutting. This results in a cost-effective production of non-square parts and easier welding.
