Shredder blades

iKnives® Extra shredder discs are designed with extremely hard and simultaneously tough steel that reduces chipping and flaking substantially and increases durability and resistance to breakage. The risk that large parts will fall into the rotor are minimized with iKnives® Extra shredding disc as they break less quickly, through its combination of high hardness and high toughness. Therefore, iKnives are suitable for shredding large, hard and non-homogeneous recycled materials.

Due to higher hardness of iKnives® Extra knives, the fine mechanical machining takes more effort but the machining steps are shortened because of the hardened steel that is used for iKnives® Extra. Therefore, the manufacturing time for iKnives® Extra can be significantly reduced in comparison to iKnives® Standard or other types of steel.
